Previously a teacher, Alexander Heitman is enthusiastic about working in another educational capacity. He credits his copious successes to the education he received, and in turn is committed to impacting the same influence onto the school district as a whole. As Oak Ridge maintains a high level of standards for its employees, he is very proud to work among a staff that loves the profession as much as he does. 

In his spare time, Mr. Heitman maintains affiliation with the Southeastern Association of School Business Officials and the Association of School Business Officials International. A benevolent individual, he lends his support to various charitable organizations including the American Cancer Society and UNICEF.
